Class Description: Young explorers will dive into the world of animals through stories, songs, movement, and hands-on discovery! In this curiosity-driven class, children will investigate animals with fur, fins, and feathers—learning how they move, where they live, and what makes them special. Each week brings exciting read-alouds, simple crafts, music, and early literacy activities that grow vocabulary, listening skills, and confidence. Best of all, students will gather all their creations, observations, and discoveries in a handy-dandy notebook—a personal treasure chest full of their learning adventures! This class is a joyful first step toward a lifelong love of science.

Class Description: : Animal Science Notebook is a hands-on science course for students eager to explore the animal world like real scientists. Students investigate animal groups, senses, life cycles, and ecosystems through observation, discussion, videos, and interactive labs, including owl pellet dissection, feather studies, worm observation, and coral reef exploration. Each class concludes with a guided journal entry that combines drawing and writing, allowing students to record observations, build scientific vocabulary, and reflect on their learning as they create a personal science notebook. Writing activities are thoughtfully scaffolded to support a wide range of learners.

Exploring Creation with Anatomy & Physiology

Grade Range: 5th-6th

Class Description: All systems GO!!! We’re headed into a fascinating journey inside the human body to discover how it was carefully designed to work. From bones and muscles to the brain, lungs, and heart, students will learn not only what each body system does, but how all the systems fit together and depend on one another. Through short review lessons in class and hands-on activities, students will have tons of “wow, that’s amazing!” moments as they realize the amazing way that God designed us all!

Supply Fee: $35 per term

Homework Required? Yes. A homework schedule will be provided and students are required to complete the reading and written homework- allow 30 minutes - 2 to 3 days per week to complete. There are 14 lessons in the textbook and we will cover 1 lesson every two weeks.

Exploring Creation with Chemistry & Physics

Class Description: Buckle up! In this class students will venture into how the universe functions through exploration of matter and energy; lessons cover atoms and molecules, pH levels, types of mixtures, mechanics, laws of motion, dynamics of motion, energy, waves, light, machines, magnets, and more. Class time includes a short lesson, hands on activities and experiments. A student-friendly syllabus will be provided to guide home assignments. Learning is reinforced through weekly online open-book quizzes and grades are recorded to help parents and students monitor academic progress.

Exploring Creation with General Science 

Grade Range: 7th-8th

Class Description:  This course is a well-rounded “science sampler,” helping students see God’s hand in creation as they explore the world He made through the study of multiple scientific fields. Students will also read testimonies from modern-day scientists who examine and interpret scientific data through a Christian worldview. Throughout the year, students will study a wide range of topics, including the scientific method, experimental design, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, physics, Earth science and more!  Class time will include a brief review of key concepts, followed by hands-on lab/experiment work connected to the weekly lesson. All labs/experiments and lab reports are completed in class giving them practical experience in observing, recording, and communicating scientific data. A student-friendly syllabus will be provided to guide reading assignments and comprehension questions completed at home. Learning is reinforced through weekly online open-book quizzes and an online open-book test at the conclusion of each module. Grades are recorded for quizzes and module tests to help parents and students monitor academic progress.

Homework Required? Yes. A homework schedule will be provided for students to follow as they complete the reading and written textbook assignments on their own at home.   Allow for 2-3 days of homework- 1 hour each day. Friendly Chemisty (1 High School Credit)

Class Description:  Friendly Chemistry is a complete high school-level chemistry course which uses simple language and a multitude of analogies to make learning chemistry more approachable. Class time will involve games, activities, and labs to reinforce the concepts learned about at home. Students will need access to Google Classroom for tests, quizzes, grades, and homework assignments. This class will have an early start time, 8:30am-9:55am, in order to include labs. Students will be expected to come to the first class prepared with initial assignments completed. Students will earn a high school science credit.

Tuition: $50

Supply Fee: Fall: $100  Spring: $65

**Supply fees for this class are based on estimated student enrollment and account for labs.  Based on enrollment numbers, fees may be reduced by May 1st.

Physical Science (1  High School Science Credit)

Class Description: This course uses a hands-on approach allowing students to explore the foundational principles of physical science. Using the text and lab activities, students study forces, machines, motion, energy, electricity, magnetism, sound, light, density and buoyancy. Students will also study general chemistry concepts including the structure of matter, the periodic table, chemical bonds and reactions, mixtures and compounds and the chemistry of food and living systems. In addition, students will learn the fundamental physics concepts of the earth and solar system, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics. Throughout this course, students discover the relationship between science and daily life.

Class Description: Raise your hand if you love hands-on science!!!! This class is designed for K-2nd grade students AND 3rd through 5th grade students who love to learn by doing. Each week, students will participate in a short, focused lesson paired with a meaningful hands-on experiment or activity. The class follows a unit-study approach, spending two to three weeks exploring each area of science in depth. Units may include topics such as zoology, atmosphere and weather, things in motion, human anatomy, earth science and the solar system, chemistry basics, and more. Activities are carefully chosen to represent the best of the best in hands-on science—age-appropriate, active learning and so much fun!

Class Description: : Young scientists will explore the world through hands-on experiments, interactive labs, and microscope observation. Students will make predictions, observe, sort, and investigate using materials like M&Ms, balloons, worms, magnets, and more. They will explore the five senses, floating and sinking, chemical reactions, and simple circuits, and use basic scientific tools such as scales, rulers, beakers, and magnifying glasses to observe details up close. Each experiment is recorded in a personal science notebook, helping students build curiosity, critical thinking, and foundational scientific skills in a playful, supportive environment.

Class Description: : This advanced course challenges students to investigate, measure, and analyze like real scientists. Using hands-on experiments—including M&M distributions, chemical reactions, circuits, floating structures, and more—students formulate hypotheses, collect and analyze data using scientific tools such as scales, triple beam balances, graduated cylinders, and microscopes, and draw evidence-based conclusions. Each lab is recorded in a detailed science notebook, strengthening scientific thinking, vocabulary, and written communication. Students explore the scientific method in depth while having fun with exciting experiments that make science come alive.
